Grew up next door in Rutherglen. Prospecthill Circus was the really shady bit, like a mini Sighthill. That's all gone now though. There's not much there except a giant asda but if you don't mind travelling a short distance for good bars, food etc then you can probably get a house or flat far cheaper than all the 'cooler' parts of the Southside.
