Well, in one of my jobs I work from home, in other, I drive trucks, so I have to go - all those bog rolls won't deliver themselves. But I am avoiding coming close to people, and for the most time, I just seat in my cab...

My partner is also going to her work, she works in an office environment, but it's not too crowded, so she can keep a distance from others.

I drive to my work, she walks. We are thinking if we should begin self-isolation soon - we have friends and family in Poland, Italy and Germany and have heard how the things are looking there, the matter is serious. Especially that Boris tactic seems to be "some of you might die, but this is a sacrifice I am willing to take". Well, we are not.

We definitely don't go out, we just did our usual weekly shopping plus a few extra bits just in case, we will not touch public transport or bakery items that are not packed at the factory - fruits and vegs you can wash, but you cannot really do it with your rolls).

I am having some flu-like symptoms for some time, I had proper flu about 10 days back and now I am feeling better, but still feel tired, have some cough and probably a slight fever - I am not able to know, because we weren't able to buy a thermometer. Probably some arseholes needed 20 of them.

I have GP's appointment tomorrow afternoon for something else, but I want to call them and seek advice about my "flu-like" symptoms. Perhaps I can consult doctor on the phone... Then I'll decide about if I am going to work that week (I only work from Wednesday onwards).

The thing is that we cannot really afford to stay off work unless we are paid for it, so it would be a big decision. She worked this weekend - partially so we get some extra money in case the things go downhill, partially because she had almost whole office to herself. I also got some extra shift last week...

We are definitely ready for the fact, that we'll have to self-isolate, even if Boris and this Matt HandCock or whatever his name is will tell us that Britain won two wars, so we don't need to be careful about coronavirus, or something.
