"I write because X will not be attending school today 16 March or for the foreseeable future. My husband and I have decided social distancing is necessary.
We have put in place a temporary schedule for X to learn at home. As soon as Ms Y has time, or when the entire school moves to home learning, we would be grateful if she could share resources and lessons.
If you would like to discuss this decision or give instructions for X’s education over the phone, I can be reached on xxxx.
We regret this is necessary but it seems the sensible thing to do based on precedent and WHO guidelines." |
