| Comment | I have elderly neighbours who are like the grandparents of the street and always see the husband Billy down the shopping centre doing his weekly shop as the wife Marion doesn't keep well. Chapped his door before I went down the shops this morning to make sure they were okay and see if they needed anything, thankfully their daughters come up on fridays and do the big shop for them so he just needs to get wee bits from Iceland. He said quite a few of the neighbours have chapped the door to see if they need anything, I told him me & mum are only two doors down if he can't get to the shops. Glad to see my street still has the sense of community I felt growing up. |
