Think the government announcing the 80% pay which applies to lots of workers combined with the great weather led to a feeling of a bank holiday and not a global health crisis.

I hadn't been great myself, still seeing friends for one last pint in our favourite pub and I'm disappointed with myself. Following the announcement today my dad is isolating for 12 weeks. I don't and didn't plan on seeing him anyway but I went and saw him in his garden at distance and to think that I can't see my brother and sister in that household has really brought it home.

I know most of us won't die from this but most of us will be separated from family and friends due to this. Is that not enough motivation.

We will all make mistakes in this pandemic but that's not a knock on excuse to keep making mistakes.
