Some places are refusing the order arguing that the order is not lawful. They argue the PM doesn't have the legal power to make or enforce such orders.

It won't matter soon, because the 'Coronavirus Bill' is expected to pass parliament tomorrow. Once that happens the language being used will change from "ask", "suggest" and "request" to ordered, statutory and mandated. |
