| Comment | If you assume that half the private cars that are on the road are over 3 years old AND that number of cars is due an MOT across every month of the year. That would be 4.8 million cars needing an MOT is any given 3 month period. I know I made more than a few statistical assumptions there, but I am sure they will have to figure something out.
