I think it's important for renters to realise that this doesn't mean they don't have to pay their rent. They will get into arrears and it will snowball. I've worked with tenants of my own that have gotten 3+ months into arrears and when it snowballs it's so hard to get caught up again.
If you're in a difficult position please talk to your landlord. They aren't all ogres (some definitely are). And pay as much as you can. Because it's still due even if you can't be evicted. |
