| Comment | Some selfish arsehole decided that he had to see his baby in the Neonatal unit at Wishaw, regardless of the fact he was coughing and spluttering everywhere. He was "fine" and he "wanted to see his wain!"
The staff jumped on it and moved the entire family into a separate room as a precaution, before testing him. The result came back yesterday... as positive!
Now all of the other families (including myself) have been kicked out. Instead of having one unlimited visit each day, we're only getting an allocated hour with our baby, to keep everyone separate.
I've got no issues with the way the hospital have responded to it, but its probably for the best that none of the other parents will get to bump into the guy again. Covid-19 would be the least of his worries.
I just can't get my head around why someone would be so selfish and not only put their baby at risk, but all the other babies in the unit too. |
