| Comment | Thank you all for the kind suggestions and help. Means a lot. I mentioned I didn't have any family or friends in the city, but I didn't say I have actually been living here for years. I have quite severe mental health problems and have difficulties maintaining relationships with people, so I have been on my own for quite some time now. In a perverse kind of way, I am weathering the social isolation pretty well as it is not a massive change for me, especially in regards to seeing people. I am normally a very socially isolated person. This is also part of why I can't ask any of my work colleagues or neighbours to help me, as it would be something I would not cope with well.
