My guess is Boris keeps the measures in place, while giving mixed messages so some folk head outdoors. That way there will be a steady stream of new cases, but it won’t be the government’s fault as they said to stay in doors. Plenty folk are idiots but they need folk flouting it, so it makes me lowkey uncomfortable all the public shaming. But again, plenty idiots.
