| Comment | Really need to get a survey done to check the state of the chimney. They can drop a liner down them for a wood burner, you need this as it burns hotter than old open fires.
Glasgow is a smoke control area so you need to burn smokeless fuel or get an approved woodburner

I would guess a min of 3k based on the cost of mine but that was in a detached house. Not sure how much of a multiplier it would be having to work at height and a longer flue. |
