yeah, never lived in halls because of how expensive they are, and as I don't get loans and my parents can only help a bit I've been working 20+ hours a week while doing my undergrad. it got SLIGHTLY easier during my masters as I finally qualify for loans - so now I "only" need to work for what I spend on food and other things
