Pull the power and battery from the laptop. Some laptops have spill guards and drains to keep liquid away from the main components. Worst thing you should end up with is a sticky keyboard (which can easily be cleaned or replaced).

If you're more confident, strip the laptop and wipe down mobo etc with isopropyl alcohol using a lint free cloth and leave to dry thoroughly (e.g. overnight).

The above does not apply to the likes of Apple which are not serviceable by the owner.

The phone is trickier. It should be able to survive a brief splash as the case will grant some protection (my OnePlus feel I tot he dogs' water bowl and was fine). Pull the SIM and MicroSD card, use or buy a spare phone for a few weeks and hope.
