| Comment | * Power the laptop off and remove battery.
* Give the keyboard a good wipe down with screen cleaner or other suitable cleaner.
* Pop the keyboard out (this may mean undoing scrrews in the base, be careful of the ribbon cables.
* Take a clear, hi resolution picture of the key caps
* *Carefully* pop the key caps off.
* Use cotton buds or lint free rags to clean around the switches.
* Clean key in mild, bleach free, soap solution.
* Allow everything to dry overnight.
* Reassemble.
* Don't fancy all that? Buy a keyboard off eBay (or broken laptop) and swap.
Look for tear-doen guides for you laptop on YT etc. Maybe there's even a repair manual. There's also plenty of repair sites with advice.
Can't help with the phone, guess it need a new screen. |
