| Comment | Over the years I've seen the canal being transformed from an absolute no-go zone, into the valuable and much used transport link it is now. Great to see people whizzing in and out the city, safe from the carnage of the roads.
Presently though, it's just overrun with folk who look like they've never been on a bike for years and with no awareness of other people. No moving for anybody. There's groups of wee guys taking to cycling aboot while tanning bevvy. And, just as you mentioned, groups of wee fannies deliberately obstructing the path.
It's been an eye opener for sure. |
