| Comment | TL;DR - have a homeless friend with no family to go to, he can't get hold of a flat because of coronavirus. He's in my flat for now but I'm in breach of my tenancy agreement and don't want to cause trouble, does anyone know of an organisation that can help him?

Not sure if this is the best place to post but I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a friend [M/23] who was made homeless a few weeks back because his brother he was living with has lung issues and didn't want to risk living with anyone during the pandemic.
The problem with this is he can't go anywhere. He spent a week sleeping in his car until I took him in but if my landlord finds out I'm keeping an extra tenant in here he would (rightfully) kick me out as I'd be in breach of the tenancy agreement then we're both in hot water.
He has the money to rent a flat but because of COVID-19 he can't meet a landlord or do viewings. He has no parents, just the brother who sent him off, so he can't even live with family. Given the pandemic situation, does anyone know of any charities or organisations who can help him? He's familiar with Glasgow in general and Dumbartonshire. |
