HMRC have said that every time he paid us (which he had weekly since the start of Feb into our banks until we closed) he should have updated our payments in our PAYE scheme. So basically due to his negligence he didn’t enrol us onto the system and provide for accurate updates. He did however enrol us at a later date (he said Mid-March but has been unable to provide exact date when we requested) and HMRC have said that if the time between the my first payment and him enrolling me into the system was abnormally long they would look into it. Looking increasingly more unlikely that anything is going to come of it though so ACAS may be worth a shot. |
