It seems I am eligible but from the start he has tried to lower my expectations of receiving money, saying things like “the scheme seems too good to be true, I wouldn’t rely on it”, “you might be better just applying for job seekers allowance”. This gives me suspicions that he has has no intention of getting the money to me from the offset.
I’ve been very careful to keep screenshots of all conversations with him, but that’s a good idea to get it straight in writing from him. Citizens advice was my next port of call, I’m going to get in touch with them tomorrow hopefully there’s something that can be done. Thanks so much for your message really appreciate it |
