This is a pretty weak argument as Labour are not in power. The current government are responsible for protecting it's citizens and if we dont hold them accountable then who de we hold accountable?
They've got so much wrong from the start, the unwillingness to lockdown earlier, the herd immunity strategy, the lack of PPE, not recognising deaths in care homes and much, much more. Lets not also forget that they did some work a few years ago on what would happen if a pandemic became a reality and they didn't follow through on the recommendations that arose from that exercise because of their own austerity measures which became an obsession of theirs. |
