I understand people's resistance towards this, due to the age and I would totally agree if I was looking from the outside in. I have agreed in the past with your p.o.v when seeing others who have went through this, I believed it's too young to make a decision. However it is not life changing, it can be but doesn't have to be. A tattoo is more permanent than what I am proposing for my son, there is no irreversible damage done up until teststorone starts, which isn't until 14 and comes with a great deal of therapy. It's simply allowing him to be comfortable in public as himself in order for him to explore who he actually is without questioning his gender. I feel his whole personality is being held back because he can't be 100% who he feels.
