Like I said if you'd replied "aye sorry of course that's a stupid idea" you wouldn't have got the abuse, but you didn't. You kept doubling down on it, tbh I think this whole thing might be a troll. I can't really believe you didn't know the reaction you'd get.
This thread all makes a lot of sense in the context of a wee boy wanting to see his gran, not really understanding *why* people are saying no, and getting upset at being called names. If that was the story then fair enough and folk would have been a bit harsh in calling a wee boy all the idiots but you mentioned your son.
So you're old enough to know better and you're old enough to take some bad names on the chin without pretending to be all hurt by it. |
