I mean, Quartermile is probably one of the best-situated residential developments in the entire UK - it's literally next to the Meadows on one side and the city centre on the other. Not hard to see why it is more popular than Ruchill.

Incidentally, the gangster Ger Cafferty from Ian Rankin's *Rebus* novels starts out with a detached in Polwarth before moving to Quartermile - just like Ian Rankin himself.
