I don't disagree, but that's something to be evaluated after the first wave, which is now passing. If you do that analysis for the first wave alone then you definitely kill less people by locking down. In the longer term, through second and subsequent waves, then absolutely that balance has to be struck, and again it depends on knowing the effectiveness of different distancing, tracing and testing measures, which will be learned over the next few months.
