Comment | I've never picked it from the Kelvin, only the Cart at a few places. I'd expect it to be around for a few more weeks as it should be flowering by now, but they could well have sprayed something around there? Not sure!
In terms of other things, I don't know much about foraging beyond the basics... lime (linden) trees are all out now - their leaves are edible when young. Hawthorn too. Nettles are in season, I did a good nettle and okra curry recently. Elderflowers should be coming out any day now, and Darwin's barberry can be found in some places with a bright orange flower - in a couple of months they'll grow blue berries which are pretty acidic and sweet.
