Lost a wool rug to the damn buggers last month, they ate a big patch under the sofa where it was a bit hard to reach when vacuuming. Ended up throwing the entire thing way. They won't eat synthetic fabric but make sure to check any natural fibre clothes. Also check for eggs and larvae they are both small and white.
