| Comment | Dennistoun is nice! Definitely visit some of the breweries near there if you are into beer.
As for hidden gems; Dennistoun Bar-B-Que is pretty decent for a burger, Bloc+ on bath street has great weekday food deals, the University Café does great haggis, neeps, and tatties. Inn Deep is a great craft pub with the best pizza in Glasgow for the price (in my opinion).
Visit some distilleries and go on Whisky tours to learn about Scotland’s natural drink (if you drink) and it’s worth heading to Edinburgh for a ghost tour (discounts on groupon) for a bit of Scottish history.
