| Comment | Disagree firmly. The roads in Glasgow and the UK in general are utterly inhospitable to cyclists, except hardened road cyclists.
Until the roads are made safer and/or greater cycling infrastructure (in the form of safe, segregated lanes) is built, I don't think we should be surprised to see cyclists using pavements.
This is obviously far from ideal. So the solution is to provide cyclists with a safe way of getting about the city too. |
