In the east end its common for every flat on every landing to have a cellar type cupboard outside in the close. They were originally the coal cellars for each flat.
If it's just a single cupboard on the ground floor it's likely communal (and maybe not even allowed for storage). Whatever you have access to, be it communal or personal, the details will be in the titles, missives or lease agreement. |
