Bishopton has a fast train every hour to glasgow that takes 15 mins, and is also close to drive into glasgow. It's also on the gourock line which goes into greenock and greenock is about a 15 min car ride in the opposite direction. It's also very close to the Erskine bridge so you can drive into the west highlands very easily.
