Last week, I held an online party with 5 other people, playing games and having fun. We agreed to play again at the same time this week.
On Saturday, I send out the invites and everyone was like 'what's this?' Turns out I'd gotten the days wrong and the agreed night was actually Friday. Fair enough, I'd gotten the day wrong, but didn't any of the five of them think to contact me at the arranged time to see if the party was still happening or if I was okay when they hadn't heard from me?
I can't help feeling miffed that I'm going to all this effort to help others and then that happens. It's easier just to play games myself than try to help other people while I do so. |
