American here. There are so many things. Glaswegians are very friendly and chatty, and as an East Coast American this made me feel stand off-ish at first. Walking on the left on the pavement took a solid six months to get used to. Letting dogs off their leads was a pleasant surprise. The Indian food here is world class, too. To get the quality of Indian food here in America you'd have to go out for fine dining. And I love that Glasgow has greengrocers.

Some things I'm still not used to are all the rubbish on the pavement and the fact that every other 20 year old girl seems to have an obviously fake orange spray tan.
