I really don't understand why people take this view. Cyclists and pedestrians are just as, if not more, likely to be unpredictable muppets as drivers are. Sitting behind a steering wheel doesn't automatically make you more reckless and holding handlebars doesn't make you more careful.
I've been hit by more cyclists than cars. 99% of the time you CAN predict what drivers are going to do because there's a set of rules and a minimum standard you have to achieve before you're allowed to drive. |
