| Comment | I'm not really in position to advise on bike types, but my vote goes for 'hybrid bike.' As for how safe is your bike in Glasgow city centre, I'm afraid that bike theft and vandalism is rampant in Glasgow city centre. There are guys with bolt cutters roaming about the town centre, looking for bike locks that they can cut through. If they can't cut through a lock, then they will try and pull the wheels and even handlebars off.
Personally, I'd not leave my bike in any city centre street for longer than a few minutes. |
