| Comment | Honestly I'd say there's an overabundance of old school heavy metal/hard rock sort of bands on the scene just now; Nocturne Wulf, Darkness Divine, Victorious, etc.
I think the one thing that's holding a lot of bands back is a lack of dedicated metal drummers. I've noticed an lot of bands with death growls and insane riffage but which totally lack any impact cos the drummer can barely play anything more than a 4/4 rock beat, it's a real shame but it just means that actual good drummers really shine through |
