| Comment | I lived next door in the early 2000s. The Mel Milap Gurdwara was a hub of the Sikh community nearby. They would often hand out the most delicious vegetable curries and samosas. Once a year there would be a huge festival with dancing, sword fighting and celebration. Loved my flat at Berkeley Street- sold it at peak of the 2008 recession ahead of the mass gentrification of Finnieston. Wish I’d held onto it. |
