| Comment | I am not going to hold my breath on GCC taking disabled access into account, I mean they *say* they did when they made the changes around central Station, but I seriously struggle when I need to get there unless I get a taxi, and frankly, given that I need to strip down and rebuild my scooter if I take a taxi, I would rather have the ability to *park my actual own car* in the city centre. If GCC went the same route Ayr did (people with Blue Badges or Mobility cars can drive through bus gates without penalty) I would have literally zero objection.
Edit: Also, my scooter does not fit on buses, so that isn't an option |
