| Comment | I was there, but kept very much to the outskirts. The vast majority were respecting social distancing and I saw very few without masks, but as you can see from the pictures it was impossible for the crowd around the column.
Personally I wouldn’t have gone near that section, but some of the images taken from the column are not representative of what I saw. Foreshortening makes people look a lot closer than they were. |
