| Comment | Not saying this as justification, but the accumulating epidemiological evidence suggests that there is virtually a zero rate of transmission outdoors, even in close proximity. Given the current estimated infection rate in Scotland, it's unlikely that this gathering would actually cause any discernable increase in cases. Of course this still isn't known for certain, so the precautionary principle applies. |
