It helps to get your lessons in the area you'll be doing your test, assuming you'll going to Anniesland driving Test Centre there are nice wide roads full of learners at Alderman road, Anniesland road and great Western road. Your instructor will pick the routes.

The nerves will always be there till you get a few hours under your belt. Get in the habit of checking your mirrors all the time even if you don't think you need to, examiners love that shit.

The nerves will always be there till you have many hours under your belt, even after I passed I had to force myself out to get rid of the butterflys. On nights when you can't drive, practice your parking on Grand Theft Auto or Euro Truck Simulator (seriously!) it helped me quite a bit.

Don't worry about slowing people down behind you, we were all learner drivers at some point.
