Old public toilets. The plan was to redevelop it as a tapas bar.
It's been completely renovated inside. Fully kitted out with a bar at one end and booths down the sides the length of the building.
It was a joint venture with Jorg Albertz and a developer. Whatever happened they finished all the work at least 5 years ago and then everything ground to a halt and it's sat like that.
Terrible location in the middle 9f one of Europe's busiest junctions with no parking but they did the vast majority of the work then abandoned it.
Hopefully Glasgow Live do their usual and chase up the original story after reading this thread. |
