Glasgow City Council has granted permission to knock down five buildings on the corner of West Nile Street and Bath Street to build a multi-storey hotel. The Blue Lagoon, O Sole Mio and The Iron Horse will be demolished to make way for the £30 million building. A rooftop restaurant and ground floor bar are included in the plans.
