Your analogy falls down as Celtic/'paedophile shielding' is an indivisible matter between club/supposed actions of club, unlike the seperation between Rangers an OO. Some might not want open investigations/care about what did/didn't go on in the past, but lots will. You've presented a false equivalence here, because you started with 'Rangers fans' without defining numbers, but defined 'all Celtic fans' in your analogy.
Also, the readiness of some Rangers fans to bring up paedophilia is worrying. Given the glasshouses nature of historic abuse and the suggestions that similar carry-on took place in Ibrox. |
