| Comment | Not sure about "white" British heritage but outside of the woke Twitter/Reddit type bubbles, this is of course what most people actually think. The vast majority do not want these kind of statues to get defaced, or for there to be an uncontested campaign to remove them etc. So it was inevitable the far right would take this as a license to take to the streets.
