“Knuckle dragging local fascists keep turning up and ruining shit for everyone” would surely be a more representative headline than most of the weird playing it down that keeps going on.
Italian football fans walk up a couple streets for an hour or two when they pop over for some sport spectating and everyone is up in arms but when we do it ourselves, it’s played down to all hell as some sort of protest or activism.
Since when do asylum seekers who aren’t getting meals they feel are suitable, in accommodation they feel alienated in, have ANY interest in trying to pull down statues? It’s farcical.
