If you're expected to self isolate for 2 weeks that just means stay inside for 2 weeks. If you're sharing accomodation with someone then you're supposed to isolate within that same property (I know that's not possible but I didn't say it made sense lol).
If you don't have somewhere to live then you're just looking for somewhere to live, not somewhere to specifically self isolate. You could book a hotel for a couple weeks if you haven't found a proper place to live before coming here, but afaik the government won't help you with that at all.
A friend of mine lives in Korea the now, based on what she's told me you'll be in for a bit of a shock as to how little is being actively done about Covid19 here. I've heard they've got quite privacy invasive measures to quarantine people etc, phone tracking and so on, there's none of that here.
Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if the government drop that 2 week quarantine thing completely very soon. |
