| Comment | Focus on the pride in ones city. If you care about where you live, treat it well and look after it. Glasgow is such a beautiful place, it’s so sad to see it covered in litter.
We used to do a mandatory ‘clean up Australia’ day in primary school. Which meant we got to take half a day off school to pick up trash from public spaces like a park or a beach , and then our school would give a big assembly praising our efforts and revealing how many bags of trash we got etc....yes the 90’s were different ha.
I get there is some dodgy stuff floating around out there and you need to be careful these days, but it definitely helped instil a sense of care into how I felt about my surroundings. |
