Aye fair point. When I'm saying an electrician could do it I was thinking run a cable from my router into the wall, pull that through the wall, and screw a new plug socket in with ethernet ports on it and plug that cable in the back of it. Essentially thinking "What would do if I didn't want to trail a cable from my living room to my hall".

Once you're talking wiring the whole house, like I am in the rest of my comment, it wouldn't be so simple.

I wasn't sure how those powerline adapters keep up with modern fibre but I've used them years ago (was for an Xbox 360) and they worked great. Couldn't be simpler.
