Powerline adaptors are definitely something that I would explore if getting cat installed doesn't work out. In fact I use them just now with my measly 20Mbps connection and it works perfectly.
At the moment if I'm getting 900+Mbps then I'd like to be able to use as much of that as I can without bottlenecks.
