Amazon is good here. There are amazon lockers too if you need something sent there. Some things take longer to arrive at the moment because of covid.

Kelvingrove Park is a nice place to walk in the city centre although sometimes it can be overrun with drunk teenagers. Having said that there's always decent, quiet places to sit if you get away from the big hillside in the middle. There's also the botanic gardens and kelvin walk way. Glasgow Green is a big park too although it's less interesting.

The west end is the most affluent area in the centre. The Merchant City is also nice. The centre e.g. sauchiehall Street, buchanan Street, Argyle Street in the centre (there's another one in the west end) is a decent area but you're more likely to run into sketchy characters there. Like many other places there can be one street which is nice/ safe and you turn a corner to another street and it's perhaps less safe but generally speaking most places are ok. I can't remember the last time I was bothered by anyone. The southside is also supposed to be an up and coming hip place to live and visit but I haven't spent a lot of time there personally.
